First Time New Build PC Spec Check

Hi all

Here all the bits I'd like to order for a new PC I want to build but I have a couple of questions about what I have specced: (Some of them maybe pretty stupid but bare with me)

Here is what I have selected:

GX-060-HT HIS ATI Radeon X1950 XT-X ICEQ 3 SILENT Heatpipe 512MB GDDR4 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) (GX-060-HT)

MY-058-GL GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

MB-150-AS Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-150-AS) 1

CP-128-IN Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-128-IN) 1

HD-046-WD Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-046-WD)

MO-045-HY Hyundai ImageQuest B91D 19" LCD Monitor - Black (MO-045-HY)

CD-044-LG LG GSA-H10ABRL 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - Retail (CD-044-LG)

OS-002-MS Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition inc. SP2 - OEM - 1Pk (E85-04026) (OS-002-MS)

KB-051-MS Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 Black - Retail (BV3-00007) (KB-051-MS)

CA-018-OC OCZ GameXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply (CA-018-OC)

CA-016-TT Thermaltake VB1000SNS Soprano SuperMidi Tower - Silver (CA-016-TT)

Source Site : www.overclockers.co.uk

Question 1 : Is the motherboard ATX and will it fit the case selected?

Question 2 : The power supply I have chosen is both SLI ready and ATX2. Is ATX2 different from normal ATX? and does it matter that i've actually gone down the Crossfire route instead of SLI? Basicallly what power supply would best fit the Spec?

Question 3 : A once over of the spec as to how good and compatible it is would be good?

Thankyou in advance

Cheers

1: Yes, Yes.
2: AtX 2.0 is the newer standard with 24 pins on the main power connector and is what you want for that build.
You need a crossfire certified PSU from the list on this page if you plan on running two cards in crossfire mode.
There is a 600W OCZ on there, check whether it is the one you listed.
3: That ultralow latency RAM might be a problem, check the QVL list st ASUS to see if it is on the approved list.

That motherboard may have two PCI-Ex16 slots, but it's not Crossfire compatible. If you want Crossfire, get the P5WDH.

Cheers guys your helping out a lot. That Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) Mobo is also using the 965 latest Intel chipset and not the 975. But I've heard that the 975 is better for the faster conroe chips, E6600 and above, what do you think?

Cheers
