This is my first build attempt so please be patient. This is also my first post, so if I apoligize in advance if I did something wrong. I will use this primarily for gaming, but also to store pictures and music, E-mail and Internet access. I will have a monitor, keyboard and mouse shortly, so I don't need advice on those. Any advice on the quality of these products, compatibility issues, anything I could purchase that would be better but keep the price around where it is now for the components listed, would be appreciated. Thanks!

What about an OS? Win XP Home OEM is about $90 on Newegg.

You don't need the EPS12V version of that power supply...the regular Truepower II would work. I believe the difference is a 8pin 12V connector on the EPS and a 4 pin on the regular. Looking at the pictures, the motherboard takes a 4 pin. The 8 pin version should be backwards compatible, but I think the regular version is a few bucks cheaper.

I will be obtaining Windows XP Home edition. I will change the power supply as suggested. Any other glaring problems?

I recommend DDR2 800 RAM, something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145590

That is the standard for your motherboard.

Other than that, no problem.
