No longer turning on?

Heya all,
My buld that is in my sig for some odd reason no longer turns on. It was working fine after a new motherboard was installed. It played games and benchmarked fine. I was loading up steam and the computer suddenly turned off. It will no lomger turn on. I tried an out of case build no luck. I also checked to mack sure everything was seated properly. The green power led on the mother board is also one. Any ideas?

thank you.

Do any of the fans spin up, can you hear any of the drives working or is it just the green light on the MOBO that is lighting up?

Other than the green light, are there any signs of life?

What is the make/model/size of the PSU? That's probably the first place to start checking for bad parts.

It is a XClio 450BL ATX 450W Power Supply 115/230 V UL, CUL, TUV, CB - Retail. I just installed it over the summer.

First thing, do a visual inspection of the capacitors on the motherboard and video card to see if any are blown/bulging/leaking. If they look OK, then you need to try another PSU(a working one).

defintly sounds like a failed psu.
id try swapping a psu before swapping a mobo (much easier then taking everything out)

I would try another power supply before I replaced a motherboard. Having a power supply die prematurely can happen to any brand of power supply.
