Systemax Vitality at TigerDirect

Systemax Vitality - $1299

E6600 2.4ghz
2MB Cache - notice how they say 2MB, did they really just overclock a e63/400?
XP MCE
1gb pc6400
2x250gb HDD in RAID 1
16x Dual Laver DVD Burner
9-in-1 Media Reader
ATI Radeon x1600 Pro 256mb Video
Avermedia PVR150 Plus Tv Tuner
Intel D975x motherboard
Logitech cordless keyboard & mouse
Black mid-tower case

How are they selling it with all this for $1299?

$1,225.18 including shipping from Newegg. $1,205.18 after $20 rebate on video card

Don't think I missed anything important. Case and ps is junk but you could add a Antec w/500w ps and still be at the same price as the system from *yuck* TigerDirect.

Wouldn't be surprised.

PS: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1983.html

You can build something better for that kind of money. Do you even need a TV tuner...? that's $60 right there. Oh, and they don't even list the power supply used...it's probably a piece of junk.

Read posts and build your own. You can do better than that.

Now you see another reason why we steer people away from TigerDirect.

Yeah, well they're good for monitors, lol. I got a Sharp LCD there with a rebate, before I knew about all this.

Actually, don't recall. I believe I did however, but it was a while ago. If I didn't, I'd remember.
