That's a solid build, the only thing you need to change is the motherboard - ASRock is a low quality manufacturer, and I'm yet to see the Intel 945 chipset recommended for a C2D build.

The lowest price motherboard I can recommend is the ASUS P5B, at £95 plus VAT

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._Asus_177.html

The Power Supply in the Sonata II is a quality one, and should power that build ok. The X1900XT is a powerful card, though - and I believe a system using one demands 450w as a minimum. If it were me, I'd buy a 500w+ power supply and case separetely, but I'll leave it up to you to make that decision

That setup will definitely be able to play those games you listed. My setup isn't even that good and I can play those games no problem on high settings.

Haven't heard of an ASRock Conroe stateside, and the 945G doesn't work. Go with the Asus that he mentioned, or an Intel board.

On the psu- That antec unit is quality. For that card and cpu combo a quality 450W would power it easily. Only problem why I wouldnt suggest a antec psu is due to their Baking/Barbecue'ing of itself during high loads.
But if you really dont have the extra cash, then I think you should be ok.

If your willing to get a separate psu, if you give us a budget, we can help find a suitable one.

Ok suggest a seperate case and PSU fro around the same price or maybe a bit more. Im already over stretching the budget, and can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap Monitor and key board and mouse.

Choose the power supply first, then get any case you like the look of (preferably above the £25-30 mark to ensure quality).

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal..._Supplies.html

Normally I'd recommend a 500w Tagan, but Overclockers are out of stock. The best balance between performance and price I think is the Enermax Noisetaker 535w at £55 plus VAT.

That said, if you're already pushing the budget, replacing that motherboard with the ASUS P5B is more important. The 450w Smartpower in the Sonata II case will power your system just fine, I purely suggested an upgrade to give you some power headroom.

For a keyboard and mouse, something like the Logitech Ex-110 would work just fine

For the screen, I assume you want a TFT screen. What size are you wanting? It makes sense to go for a name brand like Samsung or Viewsonic - much better quality than the generic models for just a little extra.

Looks pretty good. Connect3D isn't really a "well known" brand for video cards. If a Powercolor or Sapphire card with the same specs is in the same price range, I'd recommend that over the non name brand card. However, I have a Gecube brand card in my PC, and it games well, so it probably isn't really an issue.

Well you are choosing a X1900XT, and its a very big power hog.

As far as the psu goes, This is the one I would go with:
Enermax Noisetaker 485W EG495AX-VE(G) SFMA ATX2.0 PSU (CA-007-EN) Price: £51.99
or
FSP Sparkle AX500-A Blue Storm 500W ATX2.0 PSU (CA-005-SK)
Price: £49.99

Other then that I suggest you go with the Asus P5B as previously mentioned.
