no display, new mobo?

Recently i noticed that my cpu fan had started to loose rpm quite a bit while my wife's computer was running. I decided to replace it and two other fans that had started to get worn out.

I picked up a zalman cpu fan for a 775 p4 (wich required a mounting plate on the back of the mobo) Replaced it and several case fans. After reasembling the entire computer I attempted to turn it on, and i get no display what so ever.

Thinking first that i had a bad connections somewhere i turned the computer off, checked all my psu connections, IDE, sata, and PCI. Didn't see anything wrong. I then switched monitors out to check if was a monitor problem. Same result. I switched out video cards to check that. Still same result.

So I'm starting to wonder if there could be a problem with the PCI-e slot on the mobo. Has anyone heard of this happening before? I took at look at the slot and don't see any obvious problems with it, and i'm hesitant to take the computer into a local store and pay 75 dollars for them to just look at it.

Any ideas? I'm also wondering if my removal and reinstall of all the hardware could have caused this problem. I tried reseting the bio's and mobo to see if that would clear things up. Still same problem.

Regards,
Lost
