Update on my system - 2 problems

Hey again, First I want to thank you guys for helping me choose the parts to my system. The last shipment came in yesterday and I proceeded to put it together. And I've encountered two problems.

1. Edit - nevermind.

2. The Dvd Rom light is on (which makes me believe it has power) but the drive door won't open. It also isn't detected by the BIOS.

I'm using a P5W DH Deluxe motherboard. Any suggestions?

It also said something about it being "External RAID Hard Disk." Then I got a "4th Master Hard Disk Error." Does this have something to do with the jumpers? I have a Seagate Barracuda 320gb SATA. I'm guessing I didn't connect the SATA cable right (my first time using one).

Check that the DVD Rom cable it the riht way around and properly plugged in.

Check that the sata cable is plugged into the right connector, probably Sata1
