you might as well go for vista 64 when that becomes bug free if there is such a thing as a bug free OS, so far im going with a big fat NO on that one.

You'll want to upgrade the BIOS for that motherboard if it came with the 2.x version. The latest release (3.7 I believe) seems to be working well for me. Before I updated the bios my system would crash weirdly after 2 days of being up. I have a memory card reader in one of the bays, and after 2 days the device would stop working, the sound would disappear on my computer, and it would not turn off by telling it to from windows, had to hold down the button. I tried ordering a new reader even though the one I had worked perfectly well for over a year on my old mobo, but the new one had the same problems.

Updated my BIOS and all is well. I had a 16 day uptime until I "had" to install 2 of seagates 320 GB perpendicular SATA drives.

Thanks all. I did the mobo Bios update first, actually, to version 0307. Loaded the raid drivers and striped the arrays...then windows loaded without a hitch.
All my drivers are installed, Graphics running sweet...currently running at 1600x1200 on my HD 2035 monitor. Looks great and has max resolution of 2500x1500 or something like that. Installed the sound blaster card and Physx card and both are working great.
So far the PSU is giving steady and good voltage, but im still planning an upgrade.
Ethernet is strong and steady and all the windows updates are all complete, all in all, im very pleased!

Im sure it will be a while before a good 64bit OS is ready. Ive got XPx64 arriving on monday, but i doubt i will install it...ill be too busy playing with this baby...
