I really like this motherboard

I really like the looks and features of it and I am considering ordering one for myself along with a 4200+ x2. Your thoughts?

DFI motherboards are top-notch quality wise, but I tend not to recommend them because they are truly 'enthusiast' boards. For example, they have the best overclocking facilities, but the trade off is that they aren't easy to set up right.
To a non-overclocker, I'd always say get an ASUS board. If you do go for the DFI, I believe they are picky about RAM, so I'd go for some from their QVL. FK

Well if someone in the reviews says it takes OCZ, it probably takes just about anything.
Just kidding.

heh, naa that's probably a fair point!
![]() 939 is definitely NOT picky about memory, but with DFI I'd at least check out the QVL. FK |

Looks fierce, strong and fiery.
My friend has a Socket 754 DFI board too, but he doesn't know about the other extra settings there. Well if he sold it to me (incase if he changed it to a new one) I might put a Sempron chip there, and overclock it like mad.
