Boom Computer help!

l-l e 1 1 0 ,

I want to build a computer meant for gaming. If you've ever played
or heard of a game call runescape, its what I play. I've crashed my
computer 3 times playing it and i'm tired of wasting my money. Do you know
what parts i would need for a computer that will last very long while
having games played on it? Please list alllllll the parts of the
computer i would need. If you know, please tell me. Thanks!!! -rohma

I also want to know how to identify if a computer part is working or
not. Thanks again! =)

I REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT THE GRAPHIX, IF I HAVE TO I'LL PLAY ON THE WORST CARD EVER. I HAD A BRAND NEW $600 COMPUTER, WHICH I BOUGHT FROM A FRIEND. ALL IM SAYING IS THAT I WANNA IDENTIFY WHAT PARTS ARE NEEDED FOR A GOOD COMPUTER TO MAKE IT RUN LONG. I COULD BE PLAYING ANY GAME, DISNEY, CARTOONNETWORK WATEVER, JUST GIVE ME AN IDEA OF THE IMPORTANT PARTS OF A GAMING COMPUTER. THANX

I CAN SPEND UP TO $400, I KNOW NOT THAT MUCH...

Runescape? From what I recall the graphics requirements for that game are almost nonexistant. If your computer is crashing from that it must either be very old, or have a different problem completely unrelated to runescape.
But it's always good to upgrade, like GLC said, provide us with a budget, and a general idea of the games you wish to be playing (So we have an idea of how powerful it needs to be, Runescape can be played on almost any newish integrated graphics card, so its not a good reference for power))

You can't build a gaming computer for $400. Sorry. Fix what you have or buy a refurbed Dell E510 out of the outlet that has a X300SE and a gig of ram in it.
