First Build, are these items ok?

Hard Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148140

Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102022

Power Supply Unit:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104934

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145539

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131030

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115005

Monitor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116014

I have Microsoft XP and keyboard and mouse already. I think I am only short a case??? Any recommendations?

Do I need a sound card? Or does the MOBO have one already. I will be using this build to run Microsoft Flight Sim X, and using the internet.

One last thing, are there any components above that can be swapped out for cheaper alternatives, without lowering the quality too much?

Thanks so much!!

One more thing...Is it worth the extra money to buy an X1900XT video card, instead of the one I have listed? Thanks

Perfect, but I would opt for the x1900xt and also I'd get DDR2800 memory.

Random thought: Why did Newegg bump the e6300 price back up!? I liked $180.

How much did you want to spend? Do you want a fancy one or a plain one? Do you want a window? How many fans do you need? Color?

The motherboard already has built-in sound.

Do you really need 320GB? If you get a smaller hard drive it'll cost less.

You could get by with a 450 watt Fortron Source (or Sparkle Power) power supply.

You could get this 1GB DDR2 kit instead. You really don't need XMS unless you're going to overclock.

Do you already have a optical drive?

For the game you play I don't think you'll see a difference between the GT and the XT.

Or an Xclio 450 - there only 46. Cricket's right on top of it, man ! That's a big hard drive. That's some heavy firepower you've got listed. If you're going to go that route, use an E6600 - but I can tell by that "alternative" question that you may not be financially geared for that.
