computer boots up, no signal!
ok, so i was playing Battlefield 2, everything is running great. All of the sudden it exits out and goes to a blue screen. It says something like fail stop, but im not sure if that was what is was called. but anyway, it shut down windows before anything else was damaged becuse of some fatal error. So i reboot and it says my video drivers were the problem. So i go to ati website and find the latest drivers. I download and install then reboot. then it brings me to a disk scan saying it is recommended. when thats over it reboots. i get the screen to go into bios, then it goes to the screen of windows starting up. (with the 3 blue squares going across the little box) then the screen goes blank except for the "no signal". i still hear the windows load up music but just nothing is coming up. im assuming this is a video card problem, but not sure whats the problem. should i try downloading the latest drivers on a cd fromanother comp and try it that way? REALLY need help!
I have a... amd 4200+ processor radeon x1800xt, antec truepower 550 watt, a8n-e motherboard |
