If you ever plan on overclocking, that's not a suitable motherboard. Otherwise, it should be stable as a rock.

You may not need a sound card - try it without first, you can always add one later.

if you have any extra money you might want to buy the core2duo E6600 so the computer might last longer and be faster. but if u dont have the money the E6300 will do good.

No, stick with C2D. They eat P-D's for lunch.

will the video card work with the mobo? cause it says on the video card specs that "PCI Express based PC is required with one x16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard and one additional adjacent expansion slot."
what does this mean?

That video card has a very big cooler on it and it takes up the adjacent slot space as well as use the slot opening as a exhaust port. Click on the picture of the video card in the link you provided and notice how wide the slot cover is (the side that faces out of the computer) and the exhaust grill next to the video connections.

You may want to consider getting DDR2 800 RAM instead.

oh... one last thing... on the mobo spec it says: "Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets." and the one you recommended [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16820220144] says 4-4-4-12... is it still okay to use this memory stick?

Oh, didn't see that. You'll have to find RAM that matches that spec.

I'd look at Fortron Source, PC Power & Cooling or Seasonic. My preference is Fortron Source.

ok... so i found a memory stick that has 5-5-5-15 timing and a voltage of 1.8v - 2.0v... now this ram should work with my mobo... right?

mobo spec:
Notice: Only DDR2-800 memory supporting JEDEC approved 1.8V operation with timings of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 is supported on Intel Desktop Boards based on Intel 965 Express Chipsets.

I would switch the Kingston RAM to Corsair Value Select RAM.

Why are you getting a motherboard with on-board video? Get this motherboard instead.

Everything else looks fine.

Any of those modules on the list should be fine. You will never notice the difference between any of them.
