Safe Mode. Any solutions?
I just finished my first build. It fires right up but freezes after about 5 min. It will run all day in safe mode. When it freezes, it totally stops responding. I have to power down from the back. OK, with that being said, where would I start looking? Hardware or software.? Do I have a bad driver installed? Incompatible hardware device? I ran a memory test and it was ok. I would also like to add that when I was installing the OS, it kept freezing. I just kept restarting and it finally installed. Any ideas? Thanks

At first I thought you might have a driver problem, but if the Windows installation kept freezing then the problem would probably have to be hardware related. Just a stab in the dark but do you have another video card you can swap in to test with?

Could it be the RAM? OCZ?

Yeah, I can get my hands on another video card. I don't think it's the OCZ ram. It passed the tests. My first thought was video card. It stayed running long enough to let me check the event log. Alot of errors pertaining to ATI console. Windows didn't have any info though. I'm going to switch the video card and hope that's the problem. Thanks guys.
