Question two sata drives installed, only one formatted -- help!

Thanks to input from members of this forum, I got my $1000 video editing rig up & running fine -- except for one problem:

I put two seagate 7200.10 SATA hdd's on my asus p5be mobo. The mobo has 6 sata slots: 1,2,4,5 for master, 3,6 for slave. I installed hdd's on slots 1 & 3, as the manual suggested. But when installing windows xp home, i managed to format only one of them, on which i installed the o/s. There are no problems whatsoever with the system -- except i'd like to use the second hdd for my video & data files, and i'm not even sure which one it is!

Can anyone tell me what's the best way to find, then format & partition the unformatted drive without risk of deleting the o/s & all of the software i've already installed?

thanks!

Sure, that's no problem.

Start > run > diskmgmt.msc
