Everything works, I think. CPU temp question.

Ok after weeks of bothering guys on here I bought everything and set it up. I never seemed to have a problem that I can tell and am using the pc now to write this.

I have a

Raidmax Sagitta case with 1 120 mm front fan, 1 80mm sife fan and 1 120mm back fan - stock psu and the psu is fine for my needs.

a e6300 running stock with a intel stock heatsink and fan.

a x1600pro sapphire - seems ok but i don't have any games to test it anyways, lol.

and a seems to me very easy mobo to work with - gigabyte ga-965p-s3

my questions is this, what is a good stock cpu temp? with all these fans my mobo utility says the cpu is at 102 faranhiet and the system is at 98.

i haven't oc'ed anything and really dont plan too so you tell me. my ac is on and i'm cool so i'm hoping my new pc is too.

That's fine, that is about: 38C.

The temps are fine... my E6600 ranges from 40C-55C as well. That is one thing I do dislike about Intel processors. It is probably the lack of airflow, though.

55C under load for any Intel processor is well within limits. That's where Prescotts normally run with stock cooling and stock clocking. I don't see where Core 2's would be any different as far as max safe temps would be concerned.
