Can you please edit your post, and include EVERYTHING, just so I can look at compatibility. Also, Can you say what each product is (ie Cooler Master Centurion) and tow just supply the link, that way We dont have to click every...single....link...

Thanks

EDIT: well i clicked all the links and heres what i have to say.
1) do you need the Floppy Drive?
2) You might want to spend a bit more, and get a better HD
3) No need for Audio card, or Lan card, Its built into your MB.
4) With what you just saved, get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103747

Otherwise, its a pretty decent all around build. I'll look at it a bit closer now.

What video card do you have? I'm asking because the power supply in that case may not be adequate for it.

Not sure about that motherboard but I'd recommend an Asus P5B.

My suggestion, switch to this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131569 Biostars aren't the best quality, Asus is top-notch.

Just letting you know, your missing your centurion case on you 'final list'.
Also, you shouldn't need anything more, unless you want to make you system look a bit more flashy. Add a LED fan, or a cathode...but then again your 'side window' is very very small, and its not even really a side window.

I hate it when you think you have a big rebate...like his 40%!! (i love messing with figures to make me look bigger) and then you go to order, and realized that the rebate expired the day before.

Order it at 11:59...and then it will take a bit of time to be processed...you should get the rebate. Also if your account is denied...it will just retry in a few more minutes...but will save the rebates.
However, I'm affraid that the rebates are done on East Coast Time...but I could very well be wrong, since NewEgg is based in California (I think)

Date and time. There may be other things, depending on what board it is and what components you are using - you may have to make some settings concerning IDE (PATA) and SATA and RAID or lack thereof.

1) Well it will be much easier to take the card out (and safer). It takes like 10 seconds to take it out...better than having it get caught on something and break. (Also, I don't think you really need to do any out of case build. If you get reliable parts, you should be fine.

2) No, internet is not required at anytime for XP. But once it is installed you will need to activate it either over the phone, or using the internet.

You may be daring, but I always without fail go for an out of the case POST with minimum components - and I've been building for over 10 years. It's caught problems on several occasions. When I build something, I want it to stay built, not rip it all back out when something doesn't work.

I agree with glc...doing an out-of-case POST prior to assembling everything in the case is a good way to be sure your core components are all okay. I've been building (as a hobby) for 9 years now and only build with quality name brand components, but I've come across DOA or defective motherboards, video cards, RAM and power supplies (no bad CPUs) over the years. Having all the parts out of the case makes it easier to troubleshoot (substituting known good parts) and then easier to get the defective part packed up and ready to ship while waiting for a RMA.
