windows xp

hi, dont know if this is the right section but im about to install windows xp service pack 2 for the first on the computer and was hopein for some advice on how to install it. i will be installin it on to a maxtor 80g sata 150 hard drive. i have also heard that sometimes windows does not recognaise sata drives.

Go into the BIOS and set your CD/DVD to first boot device. Put the CD into the drive and reboot the computer. The set up will tell you if it sees the HD or not. Then we can go from there.

windows found hdd all installed no problems (so far )
