I Need Help!!!

Hey guys I don't have any sound coming from my PC. I have a p5w dh deluxe board and I'm not sure what I should do at this point.

ALso My GPU isn't showing up anywhere How do I check to make sure it is working?

How can I check the temps of my pc? I looked in the BIOS and didn't see anything.

Are you using the onboard sound? Make sure it's enabled in BIOS. Then make sure you install drivers for it (should be on the CD).

You're getting video on the screen right? Do you have Windows installed yet? If you do, just install the appropriate drivers and you'll be good to go.

I believe you can find temps under the Power section...then Hardware Monitor (I'm just looking at the manual...can't remember for sure).

Do you have Windows installed? Are you using on-board sound or a separate sound card? Did you install the audio drivers from the CD?

If you're getting an image on the monitor then your video card (GPU) must be working.

Did you check all the different screens?

You now have 3 threads going for the troubles you're having with this new build. You really should have kept everything in one thread.

Ok I have the sound working and I think I have all the drivers for the GPU. although I was getting some strange messages when they were finished installing. It said "could not finish installing due to error" or something to that effect. I ran a game on here last night and it seemed to work.

Now when I boot up it stops at a screen where I get these messages.

Not enough space to copy PCI option ROM
LAN cable not ready
press f1 to resume.

Everything thing seems fine, but I can't access the internet even though my PC is connected to the wireless network?

Are you uses an add-on wireless card? If so, need to install the drivers for the wireless card and then run the network wizard set-up for the wireless card. If you won't use the ethernet connection, it can be disabled in the BIOS or just set the wireles as default device in network connections

I'm using the Asus p5w dh deluxe that has wireless alreaady. I've installed all the drivers. My computer picks up the wirelss network and say it has a "excellent connection", but it just won't open the webpage. Do I need to "create a connection" or something?
