What should my friend do?
My friend decided to reformat her whole desktop, and she reinstalled windows xp onto, but she doesn't have the cd that has the drivers for all the hardware, so theres no sound, no internet and the monitor's messed up. any idea's on what she can do to fix this?

Is this a storebought computer? If so, go to the manufacturer's website (like www.dell.com) and get the drivers from there.

If it's not a name brand PC then you will have to go to the websites of the manufacterers of individual components. i.e Motherboard, video & sound cards, network card, etc.

If you have internet access, you can download drivers, burn them to a disk and bring them over. Or use a USB drive.
