No boot or Startup...NEED HELP!!!

Thanks in advance...

I tried doing a dry run with just the Motherboard, CPU, Heatsink, 1 stick of RAM, fan, power supply, and monitor. Powered it up, and nothing happens. I see the motherboard light comes on as soon as I turn on the power supply.

I tested the same thing with another processor and same results happened...nothing.

any suggestions? or other processes I can do to test? Let me know. Thanks again.

Specifications are below in my signature...sorry!

Is the motherboard in or out of the case?

How are you trying to boot it up? Are you using the power button or are you jumping the two PWR ON pins on the front panel header?

Is that Powmax PSU one that came with the case? If so, it probably isn't an ATX 2.0 standard which your system needs. And powmax are cheap supplies.
