Cool New system posts but won't boot

Using a hard drive with windows xp installed on it, my new system posts some text, but will not run windows. The system detects a problem. What is the problem?
My screen says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down
to prevent damage to your computer". Error messages Stop: 0X0000007B,
0XF9E49640, 0000034, 0X000000000

We need more information, such as, any error messages that pop up.

Just telling us that there is a problem isn't going to let us know what the problem is

Note: This should also be in "Build your own PC"... A mod should move it there soon.

Moved to correct forum.

A hard drive that already has XP installed on it being moved from another system is still looking for the hardware from the old system. The drivers don't match up. You need to do a Repair install of XP if you want to keep the existing data and programs intact. Otherwise, a format and fresh install of XP is in order.
