PCCHIPS problem

Does anyone know of any hidden jumper settings on a M848A PC CHIPS motherboard? The board keeps locking up. Tried changing all parts out including the power supply and case

Does the system freeze randomly or during specific programs?

Scanned your system for viruses, spyware, trojans and hijackers yet?

Personally I think the problem is probably the PC Chips motherboard itself.

Well yea its the motherboard. I'll clarify, the machine doesn't even POST, it locks up just after I turn the thing on, so back to my original question, does anyone know of any hidden jumper settings on this board? I don't need troubleshooting, already did that, its the board, it locks up for whatever reason, looking for anyone who's worked with this board to mention any jumper settings not mentioned in the manual?

I assume when you said "Tried changing out all parts" that included video card, ram, HD, opticals, floppy dr, CPU. Paraphrasing Shelock Holmes said: After eliminating cetain items, whats left has to be the problem.
There are not hidden or secert jumpers. May have jumper to ser the FSB but that shouldn't prevent in from booting.

PC Chips is not a good brand of motherboard. I would start by replacing that with a quality brand like Asus or Intel. Also, what are the specifics for that power supply? If it came with your case, it should probably be replaced too, or it may end up going out and taking some of your other components with it.

I've tried using a Tyan board which I've heard nothing but good things about. Also newbuilder14, I tried removing the RAM altogether and its still not posting. Without the RAM it should at least give a ram error
