Red face Always new hardware to install

I put this machine together last year with Intel Pentium 2.6 Ghz, 20 Gig Master, 80 Gig slave, Floppy drive, CD ROM, and CD RW. Everything worked fine. Last month it suddenly rebooted and kept rebooting so a friend advised it was the case that was bad and to take motherboard and all out and into new case. I added another 20 GIG Hard drive when I did this and the same rebooting problem happened. I did a clean reload of XP and it seemed OK except Drive A didn't work. I replaced the CD ROM with a DVD RW and now My Computer shows drives C, D, E and CD drive F. Another thing is the new box has all the USB wires disconnected. How badly have I screwed it up? I started a week of vacation today and hope to get everything working during this time...

Sorry, but how can a case cause the computer to reboot? It doesn't do anything but hold the components in place.

This makes me think you're using sub-standard power supplies. What brands are the power supplies in the old case and the new case?

You mean the floppy drive?

All you gotta do is connect the USB wires to the proper pins.
