Question Will these components be compatible

I am a complete novice and plan to build my own computer. I have selected the components below based on my limited research ability and popular items with good reviews at newegg and other sources. Can someone tell me if these all these components are compatible or if I am going to have any issues with cooling overheating or whatever. Can you keep it simple I am learning but cannot talk the same language that you people do

Compatible, but I recommend the eVGA 7600gt KO. Also, do you have a budget? There are far better options out there.

So far, so good.

If you're going to run SLi make sure you get a SLi certified power supply from this list.

If you don't plan to go SLi you may want to reconsider your motherboard choice to a non-SLi model.

And if that case comes with a power supply plan on replacing it with something better even if you don't run SLi.

You have a good start. But it would be good to know your budget and primarary use of the machine. This will help with upgrading or downgrading parts to meet your needs.

Please see part 2 of my message some things got cut off. $1200 ismy budget. I play games and use the computer for work. I don't play on-line and usually wait till the prices of the newest and greatest games come down after they have been out awhile. I love playing and it consumes much of my time

It is easiest to keep all this information in one thread. That is how you get the most help. Everything looks okay, though.

Component choices look good except the Samsung optical drive, get a Lite-On or NEC instead. Samsung optical drives have reliability issues.

And yeah, better to keep everything in one thread.

Looks good, but any reason for such a high end powersupply? You can get by with one half its price. However it is quality.
