Removing CD Drive

I am installing a new CD drive but having trouble removing the old one. This is a Gateway G6/266, if that matters. I have removed the 2 obvious screws on the side but the drive will not slip out. I know this is a rather general question depending on the case but thought I would take a chance that someone has the answer.

Thanks,

Thom

Depending on the case, the different ways to access drive screws are: remove to other side cover to get to the screws/the drives are screwed to a removable tray/rails are screwed to the drive that are part of a quick release system.
