Motherboard standoffs

brass or plastic? does it make a difference?

All the standoffs I know of are brass.

Standoffs can be brass,steel,plastic with threads and plastic ones that snap into holes.
Use metal.

No, doesn't make a difference...just make sure you use what you got.

The main purpose of standoffs is to keep underside of the motherboard above the case mounting tray so it won't short/ground out.
