cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103537

this computer is only being used for programming but not extreme. I'm thinking that once i get this comptuer, i will most likely over clock it if i can.

MOBO

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128301

i don't really know which mobo to pick out because this is my firsttime with AMD
but if u giuys could, i'm looking for a good mobo that can easily overclock and is cheap.
something with ht?

VID CARD

so..isthat good?

CASE

woudl that case suffice according to power and fan? or wouldi need to change the PSU and add a 120 fan

HDD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136062

CD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106013

i already gave software

You can't use a AGP video card with that motherboard, it has PCI-Express 16 video card slot.

That case is okay but don't use the power supply that comes in it, get something better and more reliable.

I don't see any reason to overclock a computer that is used mostly for programming. Overclocking can lead to file corruption and I'm sure that's something you don't want to happen when you're writing programs.

For watts 400 to 450. Get a plain jane unit from Fortron or Sparkle.

Those parts look good. The X550 is a great card for office work, but don't expect to play new games on it. If you want to play, look at an X1600 card, good balance.

I'd pick up this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103013 You don't need more watts with a lower end video card.

The PSU in that case doesn't appear to be an ATX 2.0 24 pin which the mobo needs. Get a PSU that is ATX 2.0 like the one Alaron linked. Raidmax PSUs are questionable at best.

Yup, make the PSU switch and you're all set. My only suggestion is to go with a SATA drive over a PATA100 drive that you linked to, if only for the smaller cable.

pata100 will still be fine though, if airflow was an issue, you can always buy a $2.99 round IDE cable from newegg.
