My PC is dead

Hi,
I have installed my hardware/software, and everything works. (I am even writing this message to you on my new PC), but whenever I turn of the darn thing, or restart it, it doesn't start again, unless I unplug the power for a couple of hours. This is getting really annoying because when I restart my PC because of new drivers, it won't start again.

Our handy friend the D-LED bracket says it is a problem with my memory as usual. How do I stop it? Do I need to change some BIOS settings or something.

MSI 975X Platinum Power Up Edition
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
Samsung 512MB PC2-4300 DDR2 533MHz x2
WDC 160GB SATA (in RAID0 striping mode) x2
BFG nVidia 7300 GS OC

I think that is all you need. Anything else, just leave a message.

Nick

Sounds like a BIOS issue. Have you tried resetting your CMOS (see user manual)?

Yes, I have done that so many times. I reset it so the PC will start again, but I don't want to have to carry on doing this. I just want to press the power button and for it to start? Could flashing the BIOS help?

Thanks

Check your POWER MANAGEMENT SETTINGS per MSI Manual. If that fails, try another (known good) Power Supply.

What brand power supply are you using now?

Is the Samsung RAM compatible with that MSI motherboard?
