My Latest build
Here is my latest proposed build. I though I would submit it for your comments/suggestions.
Asus P5B motherboard Core @ Duo e6600 Seagate 200 GB Sata drive Thermaltake 500W PSU 2X1gb Crucial 667 RAM Windows XP Pro upgradeable to Windows Vista 7600GT video card Liteon DVDRW I have a LIAN Li case and the rest of the components will be existing. I am not completely set on the video card and am open to suggestions. I am not a big gamer. I would appreciate any comment you care to make. Thanx

Fine parts selection there TEEB. Should be a powerful system. The 7600GT is more than sufficient for a non-serious gamer.
The only thing I'd question is the thermaltake power supply. Whilst its probably just fine, I'd personally go for a Fortron unit, like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104934 You could even get away with the 450w version, but it's out of stock at Newegg. FK

Which exact model of crucial memory?
I tend to be wary when dealing with Crucial and the Asus P5B due to the motherboard's issue with high voltage ram. Which tends to be a major characteristic of some crucial memory. And for the powersupply, you really dont need more then this: Enhance 400w $57 or Sunbeam NUUO 450W $50

[QUOTE=Mr.Ferrari]Which exact model of crucial memory?
CRUCIAL DDRII 128X64-667 CL5 1.8v I have heard of ram problems with this board. But, My supplier's tech support says there are no such problems. Can any body elaborate on this? |

That memory *should* be fine.
P5B is just very picky when it comes to ram. However the major issue was it having the inability to provide high memory voltage. Some crucial models require 2.2v at stock speed. Which the p5b cannot provide. |

Not so new

I have experienced Corsair ValueSelect DDR2 667 memory working first hand in my own system. I'd go for that.
