Please tell me this is a good idea?

Basically as you know i want too buid my own rig but ive worked out it is cheaper too buy off a prebuild site check these specs and tell me what you would rather do.

GA0601 M2N4-SLI - Gaming PC - AM2 Athlon X2 Dual-Core SLI

Processor: AMD64 Athlon X2 4200+ 1Mb cache AM2

Memory: 2.0GB DDR2 533mhz (2 x 1GB)

Hard Disk Drive: 200GB S-ATA2 3.0Gb/s

Second Hard Disk Drive: None

Optical Drive: 18x Double-Layer DVD+/-RW

Second Optical Drive: None

Graphics card: NVidia GeForce 7950GT PCI-E 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI/TV

Floppy Disk Drive: None

Operating System: None

Sound card: Onboard audio

Internet and Networking: Onboard 10/100 network card (Built-in)

Peripherals: Keyboard, mouse and speakers

Printer: None

Warranty: 3 Years Standard Warranty

Case: Thermaltake Soprano

PSU: 580W Hiper Modular Silent PSU
£796.00 (incl. VAT)

It doesent mention but the Case it comes with is a Thermal take Soprano and the Mobo is a M2NE-SLI, the monitor will probably be shoddy but i can always get another one, one of my main question is is the Graphics card better then the 1950 pro?

The site this is off is goldenelectronics.co.uk

I have built PC's so many times before i do a Ipro course at college which is basically the qualification needed too be an IT technician so why would it matter, i see better specs on that site for a better price and it saves me the trouble if it doesent work.

Ya a lot of places seems to sell what lookls like goods pc, but ya never know what types of parts they use.... I had a Dell once that was nothing put headaces, and one built for me that was put together with poor quality parts (had no knowledge before hand) So that is why I have and always will build my own... I drive Tractor Trailers for a living now, but in the future would rather stay home and buid pc for people...
