Guys help please first build not working!

Alright everything is fine apart from thing the bios settings detect a CPU fan failure but from what i can see it seems too be working perfectly could it possibly be the fan is not seated correctly i have really got now idea!

Specs
Asus M2N-E mobo
2 gigs of corsair value ram DDR2 pc 5300 677 mhz
3800 X2 with stock fan and heatsink
XFX 7900 GT
160 gig Sata 2 hdd
Sony dvd cd re writer

Help!!!!!

Edit the comp works for like 5 mins then automaticly switches off

If the BIOS is reading 0 rpms and the CPU fan is running, 3 possiblities, CPU fan is plugged into the wrong fan header/RPM sensor part of the fan is bad/connector not fully seated.

Or it could be the fact i forgot to take some of the package off the heat sink before putting it ontop of my processor. , its fixed now still says the same thing but everything seems fine im guessing if i update the BIOS it will disapear.

P.S. do i need too download a dual core patch or something?

Update the bios, make sure CPU fan plugged into correct header.

AMD does have a "Dual Core Optimizer" which can help with slowdowns in games due to the dual core. You can find it at AMD's website.
