Dealing with Unsued 4-Pin Power Connectors?

Just started connecting up the wires for the new pc im building (my first) and there is about 3-4 4-Pin Power Connectors that havent been used...i was wondering what i should do with them.i dont want to leave them laying about "live" in the case, which im sure would end up shorting everything.. i did consider using 4-Pin Power Connectors plastic covers that just slot on the end but i cant find any where in the uk that sells them or somthing close....any ideas....i dont wanna take them off incase i want to add further .....

any help would be welcome ...

are you talking the molex power connectors?

just use a rubberband or tie down and secure to the main wires coming from the power supply

Everyone deals with that. I (normally) neatly fold the excess cable, tie it, and then take the entire unused bundle and wrap it with a velcro wrap. Then I locate an out-of the way stash place. Hard to do if you if you have a small case though.

If the right side of the case comes off, put the extra leads back there. Makes for a very clean interior. Otherwise, put them between the drive bays and the side of the case. A third option is to stuff them into an empty drive bay.

i did consider doing this but the case uses 3 fans ment that ive had to use the 1 molex for the rear fan, so cant stash it out of view

If worse comes to worse, you can just zip-tie them to main 24-pin cable so they are more out of the way. Just leaving them in the case isn't going to really effect anything except maybe airflow. They're designed to no be able to short on the case or anything like that.

Molex covers are not really necessary, except for looks. An "open" plug isn't going to short anything out. It has the plastic to prevent the current from ever making contact with the motherboard.
