Unhappy Hard Disk not found?

Hi there, this is my first build and it is also my first post.

I am having a problem with my SATA hard drive.. It keeps on saying it cannot detect it.

I pressed F6 and inserted a floppy from seagate and it said txtsetup.oem was not on it. I then, put it on the floppy and then it said it could not find VIAS or something. There was no space on the floppy so I downloaded DiscMaster from Seagate (which takes two floppies) and that too did not have txtsetup.oem and when I put txtsetup.oem on it, it said there was some sort of problem with VIAS with line 2243 (or something close to that)

When I added another VIAS file from a 3rd party, I did not have any space. I tried deleting a file from the floppy to add the VIAS and when I did, my computer (the one I am building) acted like I didn't do anything.

Can anyone direct me to a website that will fix this? My hard drive is a Seagate Barracuda7200.10 amd my motherboard is a ECS RCL400

(P.S I already tried the ECS website and the fille they provided was useless)

You do not need a Seagate driver, you need a SATA controller driver from ECS. It should be somewhere on the motherboard CD, either as a copy to floppy or a floppy maker. I can't find a RCL400, by the way, that can't be the correct model number.

Sorry, the model number was 'RC410L/800'

Yes, well the motherboard cd had a folder called Floppyimage on it, so I copied everything it had on it. When I put the floppy into my computer (when I had to press F6) It said "the disk you have supplied does not provide any relevant support."

Thank you for the help by the way.

Sorry for the double post, but I'd appreciate it if someone could at least tell me what my problem is and what I can do. Thanks.
