I've gone ahead and ordered a differant power supply. One thats higher up on the forums recommended list
The Antec TP3-650 RT
i've pulled the PSU and wont run the new box until the new PSU shows up.
Has any one else had anything close to this happen to them?

What system monitor are you using? The Intel Active Monitor? I've seen Active Monitor give false alarms many times and have stopped installing it on computers as I got tired of people calling me when the error message pops up. All the computers that had the message run nice and stable indicating there really is no problem. Since I stopped installing the Intel Active Monitor I haven't gotten any calls about voltage problems.

The voltage on a C2D is 0.85 to 1.35 so yours is right within spec. 2.5 is incorrect.

Thank you for the Tech. data
Once again, I've failed the common sense rule. If it was really that far out of spec , how could I boot, play music. watch a movie and Ftp over the net? Duh!! I think I'll go to the back yard and shoot myself now. But
the way I've been going I'll probably miss.
