New Computer Build, Getting Graphic Corruption

I just finished building a computer using my old computer case. I installed a new motherboard, and most of the components are new as well. When I boot up, the display has all sorts of graphic artifacts such that I can barely read it.

Here's the setup that I'm trying to work with:
ECS Elitegroup nFORCE 570 SLIT-A V5.1 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 1.86GHz
Ultra Fire P4 Socket 775 CPU Heat Sink/Fan
Enermax FMA II 535W PSU
Corsair ValueSelect 1GB DDR2 Part Number: VS1GB667D2
EVGA e-GeForce 7300 GT 512 MB PCI-E Graphics Card
Western Digital Caviar SE 80GB 800JB-00JJC0 (old component from previous computer)
Sony DVD-ROM DDU1621 (old component)
Sony CD-RW CRX185E1 (old component)
Sound Blaster Audigy Model Number: SB0090 (old component)

This may be worth noting. I've installed the latest driver package available from nVidia for the nFORCE 570 SLI Intel Edition motherboards.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Run memtest86+ on the ram, if it passes, RMA the video card.

Thanks glc for the quick reply! I started running memtest86+ about 20 minutes ago. Quick question: how long should I let it run?

2 or 3 passes should be enough.

Update: I ended up letting memtest86+ run for about 4 hours: no errors. Took the card back to the store for an exchange of the exact same model and now everything is great! Card's running just like she should... once again, many thanks!
