what kind of power supply are you using? Have you tried an out of case build?

I'd look at changing that PS for a better one. look on the list of quality supplies in the sticky and choose one of those, at least as a start.

That power supply is not suitable for your build - you need a quality ATX2 unit for any PCI-E based system. Something like this would be plenty
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104953 Replace the power supply, and follow the steps here for the out of case build. It's the only way to identify a faulty component. http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 FK

Make sure, when you get your new power supply and perform the out of case build, that you're connecting TWO power cables to the motherboard - the main 24 pin, and the Auxiliary 4 pin connector, ususally located near the CPU. Both are required for the system to POST.

That would indicate to me a faulty motherboard. ECS are by no means the best quality, thus more of their board are likely to be DOA.
One final thing to try - connect the case speaker to the correct posts on the front panel header, and try to start the system with no video card, and no RAM - and listen out for any beeps. If you still get nothing, I'd return the motherboard. FK |
