Advice on Music Prod/Video Editing Build

I'm looking to build my first system. I'm gonna need it geared mainly toward music production, but I'll also need to do some good quality video editing. After that I'll just need to make sure I can run World of Warcraft.

I don't have a preference for Intel or AMD, would like at least a Gig of Ram, need a good amount of USB inputs and a couple RCA inputs/outputs.

I'm looking to spend more or less around $1,500.

Can someone point me in the right direction? What are the initial decisions I need to make?

Thanks
