How large a hard drive?

I am looking to build a PC mostly for gaming, and I am wondering how large of a hard drive I need?

What I am thinking about so far is:

Geforce 8800 GTS or GTX
2 GB RAM
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor

A 200GB HDD (about $70) should be more than space enough unless you like to keep lots and lots of games loaded on your computer. You can get a 320GB HDD for under $100 now.

Really, if you don't have a music or video collection to deal with, even an 80 or 120 GB drive would probobly be more then enough space. That's been my experence anyway. 250 GB is the standard size most people go with these days for price vs. value though.

I think the 200gb ones are in the sweet spot at the moment, getting most bang for your buck.

Just to point out - it doesn't appear like your motherboard and processor you selected are compatible. If you want to use an AM2 CPU; you need an AM2 socket motherboard - not 939. You should probably start a thread with your parts list, so we can go through it and help you make it all compatible and what not.
