step by step guide to gaming computer build

I was in the news stand last month and picked up a magazine i believe it was pc gamer. Guy did an article that gave specific components for a build of "ultimate gaming computer". I thought would be a great christmas project for my son and I. I ordered specifically each component for magazine such as the dual nividia video cards and the x navigator case etc..

All components are in and wife threw out magazine on how to build! I am looking for that article and cannot find it. cannot find magazine as the new month is now out and I got it in the newark airport.

there is a plethora of how to build articles. my son is twelve and I am a newbie. has anybody seen this article

Well, we do the best we can mbiggs. We don't want to degrade any magazine articles.

Here are some guides for building your own PC:

We can help you put together a list of parts if given a budget.

Since you have the parts already, could you list them by brand and model number? This will help if there is something that needs to be handled differently due to a particular model.
