http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=TC3J-2222
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144102 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145024 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106055 Around 210 dollars. Dont worry about the video card, I have one at home. I have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor so its all good. If you can find anything cheaper and will have the same performance as any of the above parts, please post!! Thanks! Last edited by Nugwin; 12-25-2006 at 10:36 AM. |

The RAM is the wrong type...you need DDR2. DDR RAM won't work in that motherboard.
Get a SATA hard drive instead of a IDE. Do you really want to get that bare bones kit from Tiger Direct? The motherboard in that kit is total rubbish and I wouldn't be surprised if the power supply is rubbish too. And I wouldn't order anything from Tiger Direct...they have horrible customer service and their bare bone kits are put together with junk no one is buying. What kind of budget are you working with? We can help you piece together a much better computer than that. Cricket

Wow, I messed up. Well, for my budget, I'm trying to go as cheap as possible and still have decent performance. Im not looking for like an uber gaming rig or anything, just a computer that will get the job done, and maybe play a few games.
NEW RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231105 Harddrive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822135106 Im going to need suggestions for the barebones package(or would buying everything seperate be better?) Of course, I still need advice on everything. I cant remember if G.Skill was a good brand, It has been a long time. Thanks for the help Last edited by Nugwin; 12-25-2006 at 11:03 AM. |

I'd say around 200 dollars, give or take 50 dollars. For the CPU, I don't know which brand I should go with. I really don't. Just whatever works and fits my budget I guess.

For the $250, your going to have use cheap, crummy parts. And you still don't have an OS. I'm doing an upgrade and the best I could do with quailty parts was $310(mobo/CPU/HSU/ram/PSU), no video card or case or OS.
