Two questions for new build

I've got my parts from newegg and have the motherboard in. But I have run into two problems.

#1. My case doesn't come with a case speaker. It says I need one to hook up the warning speaker. Since it doesn't have one does that mean I won't get the BIOS beep?

#2. On expansion cards slots are the metal prongs supposed to go outside of the case? or inside next to the motherboard? My video card doesn't fit outside but I was wondering if having these prongs inside of the case would short my motherboard?

My case is a Thermaltake Tsunami.

Thanks.

Generally your bios will play it's series of beeps through the speakers these days.

The metal prongs go on the inside of the case. No, it won't short your motherboard...

Your mobo should have a built in speaker but if not you can get one online, take one out of an old pc case or get one at a pc parts supplier if you have one hear you. There are slots under the expansion slots that those tabs fit into.

You mean through the stereo speakers that plug into the sound card? I've never heard of that before.
