Exclamation New build- Please check components

Sorry for the evidently newbie post but please could you take the time to read my pc components and tell me where i have gone wrong.

Mother board- Asus P5W64-WS Pro- £179, with the fan Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (FAN-AC-FREEZER-7)- £13
CPU- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.40- £200
Graphics Card- Ati Radeon X1950XTX- 257.99
Hard Drive- Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 160GB- £40
And i desperately need a case for all of this please recommend one. I dont really know much bout cases so i dont know what PSU to get for the mother board. Is there anything else i need and are these good choices...Ideally i wanted a mother board that is good at overclocking with all the features...this board does not have fire wire but i think it has all the other features. I am looking to purchase soon with budget of 1 grand (do have leaniency on this) please post your replies with any comments. Thank you.

I would highly suggest nothing less then this ram:
1GB Corsair VS DDR2 667 or 2GB Corsair VS DDR2 667

And have you already bought the hard drive? If not, I would highly suggest you stay away from Hitachi's. Something like Seagate would be better if you have not yet purchased.

Before I suggest a powersupply, do you or do you not plan on going crossfire with this setup? (two card setup). If not then something like this would do the trick:
Akasa 500W PaxPower

P.S-writing in colors gets hard to read .

For cases, if looking for a clean look: Antec/Lian Li/SilverstoneChenming/CoolerMaster.
If looking for lights/flash/fancy gizmos/ check through your favorite on-line store and find something that you like.

Thanks for your reply....i am not looking for a crossfire setup for this build but in the future i may consider investing in an additional graphics card to accompany this one. Will the graphics card on its own in this case do me for 3D games. And power wise....considering i am not prepared for the crossfire set up at present. What PSU wattage should i get and will practically any mid atx case fit my current components....also what do you think about the fan?? Thanks for replying your info was very helpful.

the ram is compatible, its DDR2 - the ram standard for both C2D processors and AM2 processors.
