first computer wont start

this is my first computer i have triedto built and i have just recently put all the correct wirings together, i hope. but every time i try to boot the computer up nothing happens at all. i bought all my parts from newegg.com. can someone first tell me what is wrong in your opinion? and second, is everything listed here even compatible?

Which processor? You listed your memory as your processor.

Make sure you connected the 4-pin power connect next to the CPU socket.

well i fixed the link and i do have that 4-pin cable plugged in. i tried what was on the link wihtout actually taking out the motherboard, i just unplugged the other cables. and for that, are the plugs that go in panel 1 supposed to be in there? and also are the colored cables positive and the white cables negative?
