A build..

Hey i need your guys help.. i was wondering if this build would be compatible with eachother?

mobo: Intel Desktop Board DG965RYCK w/ DualDDR2 800 ,Video, Audio, Gigabit Lan, 1394, PCI-E x16 139.95

processor: Intel Core™2 Duo Processor E6400 2.13GHz w/ 2MB Cache 269.95

memory: Kingston HyperX 2GB PC2-5400 Dual Channel DDR2 Kit (2 x 1GB) 339.95

HD: Seagate 250GB Barracuda 7200.10 SATA II w/ NCQ, 16MB Cache 94.95

gfx card: eVGA e-GeForce 7900 GS KO 256MB PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out 229.95

drives: 2 X LG Super Multi DVD Writer 18x18x8 DVD +/-RW Dual-Layer, Black (OEM)

power supply: Antec TruePower Trio 550W Power Supply w/ Triple +12V 109.95

That's not it, though! I'd like to make some suggestions if I could.

Motherboard: Good, but I like the DG965WH board instead.
Processor: Okay, but for me it is either the E6300 or E6600.
Memory: Pretty expensive, and you cannot overclock with an Intel board anyway so why get premium memory? Corsair ValueSelect or Kingston ValueRam is what you want.
HD: Awesome.
Graphics: Good, pretty top notch for a placeholder, though.
Drives: What's there to say? I'd suggest a retail drive so you get software, though.
Power supply: Good choice.

wow quickest reply ever thanks! I was wondering why you would choose the e6300 or e6600? and are there other motherboards that support core 2 duo that are in the similiar price range?

I think the e6400 only appeals to overclockers - the extra speed doesn't warrant such price differences in my opinion.

The only other motherboard I'd recommend is an Asus P5B. It will work great paired with Corsair ValueSelect DDR2-667 memory, XMS2 DDR2-800 if you're overclocking,
