I would get just a bare case and use this guide for a good PSU: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=131195
Raidmax PSUs can be anything from good to pure junk.
MSI board OK. Possible second choice:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131045
Ram: If not OCing, can drop down to the Value Select DDR2 667 to save a few bucks.

thanks for the reply...well i do plan to overclock.....thats part of the reason i want to build one so i have that ability....

the PSU i understand what u mean overall that has pretty good reviews but at the same time...the case seems to b very good with the airflow....and the 500 watt psu i think it might b ok to take my changes with...if it burns out i can just buy another fairly easy

the weakness of this build is that the reviews on the MOBO seem to jump all over the place but looking at it..it seems to b a good mobo and beable to do everything i need

If into OC, then get a quailty PSU from: Antec/Seasonic/OCZ/Enermax/Fortron. Since Raidmax quality is all over the place depending on who made a particular model, I would go with known, good brands. A cheap PSU that "burns out" it can also destroy the motherboard/drives/video card/etc. Good PSUs have more protection built in and thus less chances of ruining other components.

good point....ok saying that i dont want to spend 50 dollers on a PSU...my limit is like 1000USD

with the current build im sitting at 998 USD.....meaning that i take out the case replace it with another (needs good airflow) and get another PSU...could that be done with 90 dollers?

I highly suggest the P5B Deluxe - it has some of the best overclocks.

I like eVGA video cards - the eVGA 7600gt ko is better in my opinion.

You need to change that power supply - it's not as easy as just replacing it if it goes out - one as terrible as the one that comes in that case can more than likely take other things with it with its unstable power. Good brands are Antec, Enermax, Seasonic, OCZ, etc., and since you're building a higher end machine you want to protect it.

Okay, that power supply really wasn't much of an upgrade. If you are on a budget, go with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817189003

Should be OK, depending on how hard you OC. If going to do some strong OCing, could bump up to the 500w Xclio.

The 500w Xclio isn't the best around - how about something from Antec or FSP?

A 7600GT video card needs not much more than 400w at the minimum. Your system isn't loaded up with lots of drives, so a 450w should fine.

You do not want to use a PSU that comes with a case. 99% of them are horrible quality, and as said by others, they are likely to take out other components when they go out. The Xclio 450BL is a great choice for a mid range computer. However keep in mind that if you ever want to convert/upgrade your rig to a gamer, you will have to get a new PSU.

If you haven't already, I would also suggest the P5B Deluxe over the Platinum.

Or if you want to save some $$ then go for the normal P5B.

Listen carefully. You say that you want to overclock. You also say that you don't want to spend over $50 for a power supply. You CANNOT have your cake and eat it too! If a QUALITY power supply puts you over budget, you need to cut back on something else. Get the plain vanilla P5B motherboard. Get a Lite-On burner and save 10 bucks. Get a smaller hard drive if you have to. Get a lower end processor if you have to. Get a lower end video card if you have to.
