Need Compatibility Suggestions

Ok, now instead of an MSI mobo, i've decided to go w/Asus. Given what I can spend on a system, around $600.00, what would you guys recommend? I want to go with an Athlon 64 CPU, preferrably the 2.0 Ghz 3200+ Venice. The Asus A8N-E looks good to me, but ofcourse i've never built a computer myself before. I'll be mainly using my system for internet, downloading some tunes, and light gaming. Thanks.

Is the $600 for just the tower and OS or for a complete system(monitor/keyboard/mouse)?

A 939 AMD system or Pentium D system sounds right for you.

Well, that is pretty hard to do. Did a quick list with your CPU and mobo picks and came up with around $740. I picked the Antec 180 case/PSU for quality parts. Could look for a dirt cheap case and a FSP PSU which may knock off $40.
