Looks pretty solid.

I would swap the Plextor drive for a Lite-On. Plextor's are good, but there is no reason to pay $100 for one. A $40 Lite-On will burn just as well.

The monitor is a good choice, but the price is rather steep. You could get a 22" for less. Samsung is a good brand to use, as is Viewsonic.

Lastly, no need for DDR2-800 if you don't plan to overclock. DDR2-667 will work just fine.

Going to be attempting to OC this, Hence the Zalman.
I am concerned the Heatsink won't fit in the case but will have to wait and see. As for the Monitor I looked and looked and for the Refresh rate and the size I figured that was best bang for my buck. I am concerned I may have gone over board on the Sound card, but not sure. I am going to need an OS, And I have my eyes on a G15 and a WolfKing Gamers pad but their not listed as their not essential I have something to get by with for the time being.

Any other tips?

Nice... kind of like what I'm looking to get :P Tell me how that monitor works out if you get it

Also, from what I've heard, the Zalman should have no problem fitting in there (especially with that case).

I recommend an Asus 680i board. Honestly, the whole idea of SLI with Intel is pretty unstable - I'd much rather have a solid Intel chipset as one 8800GTX should be more than plenty. My suggestion is an Intel P965 chipset board such as the Asus P5B Deluxe. Good luck.

That powersupply will not cope with Dual 8800GTX's.

800-1000 watts is what would be required....I think
And where did you say you wanted SLI, he's just buying an SLI board.

Coolmax is not a reccomended PSU brand. If I had a budget like yours and was using parts like that, I'd get a top of the line PSU, like some of these;

1000 watts may be overkill, I'm not sure though

And those Coolmax Greenpower's are based on ATNG's server platform. I've heard they have turned over a new leaf, but I will never trust ATNG again.
