Think ill sell my rig.
My first time selling a computer, need your help. This is what i have right now, fully functioning.

Used computers don't hold their value very well. Figure the cost of the items minus 30% or so...about $1100. But I wouldn't spend over $1000 for a used computer.

Used PC's do not hold much value. I personally figure about 50% of new prices.

You'd probably be better off parting it out and selling on forum sites or eBay. As was mentioned, used PC's rarely reach even 50% of their component price. Looking at your rig, I'd guess $800 or so as a whole, parted out probably closer to $1000-1100.

Im wanting to sell so i can buy the parts for a new rig, something alot smaller. Ive been looking at the shuttle sff pc. Dx10 gpu would be nice when they come down a bit too. |

In that case, I'd part it out and keep some parts for the new build. It may be more of a hassle and take longer, but you won't lose so much money.

I'd just switch out the motherboard and processor to a Core 2 Duo setup. What kind of memory do you have there? Should be able to use it with a new Core 2 Duo build.
