New build trouble
Ok well I just finished putting together my first computer.. AMD athlon 4400+ X2 , Asus A8N-SLI mobo , WD 250 GB HD , BFG 7900GS OC , Thermaltake Toughpower 750 watt Modularized PS, Creative Sound card , Oh.. And the CPU has a Zalman LED9700 . TWIN512 Corsair XMS memory
When I first fired the compter up, Everything seemed to be working.. I go and see If I can get a POST and nothing. I will asure you that its not the MOBO, I just got it back from a RMA. Not the Video card, Tried two diffrent cards. So, Can anyone tell me what I need to do? Thanks for the Help! |

What does he mean by this, "10) Use a small screwdriver to momentarily short the power switch connector on the motherboard."

The power switch connects to 2 posts on the motherboard - use a screwdriver to momentarily touch the 2 posts together.
